Ed Sollinger, C.P.A.

A Certified Public Account office helping small business and individuals with business planning, small business consulting, financial statement preparation, business and individual tax planning and preparation since 1984 and is Simply Accounting and Quick Books certified.  The office relocated to DeSoto County in December, 1990.

Edward J. Sollinger, C.P.A. 

Mr. Sollinger received his B.S. Degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1967.  His continuing professional education has exceeded the forty hour requirement for over 10 years.  He has been a C.P.A. since 1976 when he passed the exam in one sitting. He is licensed to practice in Mississippi and Tennessee.

Mr. Sollinger is a member of the Misissippi Society of Certified Public Accountants, served on the Board of Governors from 1996 to 1998 and is Past President, Delta Chapter.  He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. 

After beginning his career as an enforcement examiner for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board in Pittsburgh, Mr. Sollinger moved on to Assistant Controller for Bradford Coal Company in Bigler, Pennsylvania and then relocated to Tennessee.  He held several positions of increasing responsibility up to Treasurer as an employee of Kemmons Wilson, Inc.  After providing financial planning services to individuals and business for two years, he opened his full service office.

His wife Sandra of 37 years and he have two children, Edward J. and Jeannie.  They are residents of Bridgetown and belong to the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

Mr. Sollinger is a Past President of the Whitehaven Jaycees, and Past President of the Horn Lake Chamber of Commerce where he presently serves on the Board of Directors.
