HEY LOOK!!! Hooters of Horn Lake will be sponsoring an additional Closest to the Pin Competition. There will be a minimum $5 donation per player that wishes to compete which will go to the Breast Cancer Fund. The winner will receive a Hooters prize pack that consists of a golf bag and other goodies.

MISSION STATEMENT

To develop and maintain an economic climate which will create jobs and enhance the quality of life for all citizens of the Horn Lake area.

GOALS & OBJECTIVES

To continue increasing Chamber membership, generating participation and income.

To maintain and increase jobs and expand the tax base of the City of Horn Lake by recruiting commercial, retail, professional and residential businesses.

To develop and improve work skills of potential workforce through training and improving customer service.

To support the City of Horn Lake committees on signs, cleanup and community pride awards.

To promote and enhance the image of the Horn Lake area.


	HLCC EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, LARRY WITHERSPOON PRESENTS THE "BEST MARCHING GROUP" TROPHY TO CHIEF WARRANT OFFICER TYRONE HALL OF THE HORN LAKE HIGH SCHOOL JROTC. THE GROUP HAS GROWN TO 140 CADETS SINCE IT'S BEGINNING. CONGRATULATIONS CADETS!			MAX FITNESS, (FORMERLY FITNESS PREMIER), RECENTLY HELD A GRAND RE-OPENING. PRESENT WERE, LARRY WITHERSPOON, HLCC, PAM PITTMAN, LAQUINTA INN & SUITES, TRACY BRYANT OF THE PARKS DEPARTMENT, ROBERT CLARK, QUINNA LAMARK, SALOME ALVADO, LAREE BUCHANON, JACKIE TOWNSEND, AND KADEY O'GRADY, STORE EMPLOYEES, ALDERMAN JOHN E. JONES JR., DREW MORGAN, EMPLOYEE, CORY WOOTEN, STORE MANAGER, ROY RIDGEWAY, THE DOG'S DAY, LILLIE BANKS, TRUSTMARK BANK, DON HIBBETS, ALLISON CHRISTIE, OUTBACK STORAGE, JERRY SALES, HLCC PRESIDENT AND NEWLYWEDS FOODS, HANK LUDWIG, BANCORP SOUTH, AND LINDA RASKEY.			SOME OF THE CROWD AT THE RECENT, "COFFEE BREAK", HELD AT LAQUINTA INN AND SUITES, 721 SOUTHWEST ACCESS DRIVE. THE EVENT FEATURED SPEAKER BLAIR BALL REPRESENTING THE "SERVICE CORPS OF RETIRED EXECUTIVES", MEMPHIS CHAPTER. MR. BALL PRESENTED A PROGRAM ON THE USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA IN BUSINESS AND SPOKE BRIEFLY ON SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION. SCORE WILL BE PARTNERING WITH THE HLCC THIS YEAR IN SEVERAL AREAS INCLUDING BEING THE CENTERPIECE IN OUR NEWLY REOPENED BUSINESS COUNSELING PROGRAM. AS BEFORE, THE PROGRAM IS FREE AND INCLUDES CPA'S, BANK REPRESENTATIVES, AND ATTORNEYS. IT IS OPEN TO EVERYONE.		A COMBINATION RIBBON CUTTING AND CHECK PRESENTATION WAS HELD RECENTLY AT TCC-PREMIUM VERIZON RETAILER. FROM LEFT, LARRY FORCE, 1ST VP HLCC & DEALERS AUTO AUCTION, ROY AND LISA RIDGEWAY, THE DOG'S DAY, CLAUDETTE WHITE, VERIZON, BETH PEKKAR, CO-DIRECTOR, SAMARITANS, JUSTIN ANDREWS, STORE MANAGER, RALPH SHIELDS AND DAMON NOEL, GARDENS OF GRACE CHURCH, ALDERMAN JOHN E. JONES JR., LARRY WITHERSPOON, HLCC, ALLISON CHRISTIE, OUTBACK STORAGE, AND LINDA RASKEY. THE $500 CHECK WAS PRESENTED TO THE SAMARITANS FROM TCC. THE VERIZON RETAILER GIVES TO A NON-PROFIT IN EVERY COMMUNITY THEY OPEN IN.
