MISSION STATEMENT

To develop and maintain an economic climate which will create jobs and enhance the quality of life for all citizens of the Horn Lake area.

 

GOALS & OBJECTIVES

To continue increasing Chamber membership, generating participation and income.

 

To maintain and increase jobs and expand the tax base of the City of Horn Lake by recruiting commercial, retail, professional and residential businesses.

 

To develop and improve work skills of potential workforce through training and improving customer service.

 

To support the City of Horn Lake committees on signs, cleanup and community pride awards.

 

To promote and enhance the image of the Horn Lake area.

  HLCC EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, LARRY WITHERSPOON PRESENTS THE "BEST MARCHING GROUP" TROPHY TO  CHIEF WARRANT OFFICER TYRONE HALL OF    THE HORN LAKE HIGH SCHOOL JROTC. THE GROUP HAS GROWN TO 140 CADETS SINCE IT'S BEGINNING. CONGRATULATIONS CADETS!  

 

    RONALD McDONALD, REGGIE THE READING RACOON, TOYS FOR TOTS OFFICIALS, AND MANY CHILDREN RIDE ON LITTLE OBIE THE TRAIN FROM THE CANADIAN NATIONAL RAILROAD AT THE HORN LAKE CHRISTMAS PARADE. THE ENTRY WON NOT ONLY THE FIRST PLACE TROPHY FOR A NON-BUSINESS FLOAT BUT THE MAYOR'S CHOICE TROPHY AS WELL.     "SGA TROPHY AND T-SHIRT" OWNER CRISSY STEWART IS PRESENTED THE FIRST PLACE BUSINESS FLOAT TROPHY BY THE LATE TOM POLZIN, PRESIDENT  OF THE HORN LAKE NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH, AS WELL AS A MEMBER OF THE HORN LAKE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

 

   

THE SECOND ANNUAL HORN LAKE TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY IS SHOWN ABOVE. THE EVENT IS HELD AT THE END OF THE CHRISTMAS PARADE AFTER THE AWARDS HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED AND THE DIGNITARIES HAVE SPOKEN. THIS EVENT COLLABORATION OF THE HORN LAKE PUBLIC WORKS AND PARKS DEPARTMENTS. OUTSTANDING JOB GUYS!
